English Language Course Teachers

English Click employs fully qualified, native English-speaking teachers who possess a recognized teaching certificate and a bachelor’s degree as a minimum. All of our professional English language training course teaching staff have extensive experience at teaching English to students where English is not their native language.

While all of our English language course instructors are qualified and experienced for teaching general English language classes, some also have additional qualifications and skills that focus on teaching business English language training classes, while others have skills specifically suited to IELTS preparation.

Some English Click English language training course staff have skills that are honed for teaching English language courses to specific industry sector employees and many of our English language course teachers are competent in Thai language too, ensuring students with even minimal English language skills are able to achieve satisfactory results in the shortest time possible.

Head English Language Course Teachers

John Hemming (Director of Studies)

John holds dual British and Australian nationality and has an MA from Oxford University (French and German) and a Cambridge University CELTA qualification. After working many years at a senior management level in the magazine publishing industry, he took up a post as Mathayom Co-ordinator and English teacher at Assumption College Thonburi in 2003. In 2005 John joined English Click as Director of Studies and regular teacher.

As well as general and business English training, John delivers a number of more specialized courses including IELTS preparation, Advertising & Marketing, Finance and Medical English. Corporate clients include Commission on Higher Education, Kasetsart University, BTS, Raimon Land and Primavest Asset Management.

 

English Language Course Teachers

Stephen Robertson

Stephen, who joined English Click in 2005, has dual British and Australian nationality and is qualified with a B.Sc (Chemistry) from Reading University and a TESOL Certificate from the University of Portsmouth. He worked as a Lead Auditor in the pharmaceutical industry before coming to Thailand in 2002 where he has taught at a number of educational insitutions including King Mongkut University, Thonburi.

Stephen has extensive general and business English training experience, both in-house and at corporate level, with clients including Panasonic, Suzuyo, A 49 Architects, Kasetsart University and the Immigration Police Department.

Nigel Thomas

Nigel, a British national and teacher with English Click since 2006, studied Education and Training at the University of Greenwich and also holds a number of diplomas and certificates in various sectors of the hospitality industry in which he worked as a lecturer at vocational colleges. He came to Thailand in 2001, gained a TEFL Certificate and has taught at several educational institutions in Bangkok including Rajamangala University.

Nigel teaches general and business English and also specializes in hospitality industry training, English for nurses and IELTS preparation. Among a long list of his corporate clients are Panasonic, Ocean Life Insurance, The Oriental Hotel, AC Nielsen and Chulalongkorn Hospital.

Charles Dicken

Nigel Thomas Charles is a British national and holds a BA (Politics and Modern History) from the City of London Polytechnic as well as both TESOL (Trinity College, London) and TEFL (TEFL Training, Oxford) Certificates. After working in the commercial sector in England, he began teaching in Thailand in 1998 including Bangkok University and Rajamangala Institute of Technology.

Charles, who joined English Click in 2008, provides general and business English training, his corporate clients including Makino, CP Foods, Shell, Toyota and the National Telecommunications Commission.

Marieta Losaria

Marieta, a Philippine national, holds one BA and three MA degrees in English Language, English Language Teaching and Education. After teaching in The Philippines, she came to Bangkok in 2007 and taught at Traill International School.

Marieta started with English Click in 2008 and teaches both young learners and adults, with Kasetsart University and Long Table Restaurant as corporate clients.
